In the world we live—America particularly—freedom brings up lots of emotions, questions, thoughts, and concerns. “Give me liberty or give me death” stirs up the hearts of all of us. William Wallace crying out “Freedom” at the end of Braveheart will always give us the chills. Why? Why does freedom matter to us, and how should we engage and live with the freedom around us?
Whether topics of freedom of speech, abortion, the legislation of drugs or weapon ownership, we are bombarded daily with questions of freedom. What freedoms should we have as a society, and more, what should we do with the freedoms we currently have? Join us as we talk through what would Jesus say as he stands amidst this noise and says, “whom the son sets free is free indeed”.
Join your hosts, Linda Tokar and Brandon Bathauer, as they discuss different views about freedom, and the ramifications of buying into these views.
